Is Hans only for new cars?
Not at all. Hans is most useful for cars you actively use — old or new. Start fresh from today, or backfill history from old invoices and ITP papers — both work fine.
Can I share my car's history with a buyer?
Yes. From the Garage plan, generate a shareable read-only link (optionally password-protected) that shows every service, fillup and document you choose to include. Buyers see a clean PDF preview without needing a Hans account.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
If you don't subscribe, your account moves to read-only — you can still view and export everything, just not add new entries. Your data stays for at least 12 months in case you come back.
Does Hans work for electric cars?
Yes — it adapts. EVs show charging sessions instead of fillups, kWh/100km instead of L/100km, and green plate styling everywhere they appear. It even asks different service questions (tire rotation vs oil change).
Can I use Hans without internet?
Hans is a web app, so it needs a connection to load and save. It works great on your phone's browser — add it to your home screen for one-tap access at the service shop. Offline capture is on the roadmap.
Why isn't there a free tier?
Storing PDFs and photos costs money, and we'd rather charge a fair price than make ad deals or sell your data. €4.99/mo keeps Hans independent and your glovebox private. The 30-day free trial is full access — no feature gating.
